Remuneration:starting from $128,596.00 per annum (SCAHDs
level 8.1 +3%)
MSV is seeking to appoint an Integrated Legal Practice Director with the
experience to lead a multi-disciplinary team which supports vulnerable
Victorian homeowners at risk of losing their home, and potentially becoming
homeless.
Mortgage Stress Victoria (MSV) is an innovative, integrated community legal
centre providing free, life-changing financial counselling, legal and social
work services to Victorians experiencing mortgage stress.
As an experienced senior leader, you know how to create an open and
collaborative culture. You are committed to developing your team’s capacity,
fostering innovation and creating opportunities to magnify MSV’s impact
through external engagement.
As our new Legal Practice Director, you’ll demonstrate your engaging &
collaborative style and commitment to supporting and motivating your team to
deliver high quality support to people accessing MSV’s services.
You will bring 5+years of practice experience, preferably as a principal or
senior lawyer, and be eligible to obtain a Principle Practicing Certificate.
You will have consumer credit expertise and knowledge of general consumer
law, including insurance law.
You will also have a deep respect for MSV’s three practice areas as equally
important contributors to our integrated practice.
You can manage a legal practice because of your strong understanding of the
professional and ethical obligations of practise management with an ability
to identify & manage risks.
